(Message To The Church)

My people will be destroyed because they have no knowledge. You have refused to learn, so I will refuse to let you be priests to me. You have forgotten the teachings of your God so I will forget your childrenHosea 4:6 (NCV)

God’s kingdom is close at hand. Let us not be guilty of believing, as the Jews did the fist time that Jesus came, that the Lord will set up a kingdom on earth and deliver us from political captivity. While no one knows the day or the hour “when the Lord will crack the sky and take his believers to his home on high” (Matt 24:36), the signs of the judgment are all around us (Matt 24:6-14).

Matt 24: 27-35 warns us of what we need to look for when Jesus returns: “the sun will grow dark, the moon will not give any light, the stars will fall from the sky and the powers of heaven will be shaken”.  Now is the time for us to prepare for the Second Coming of the Lord. The signs of the judgment are everywhere. My message to you is, “Be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord and your labor will not be in vain.”

Matt 24:42 warns us to: “Always be ready, because you don’t know the day your Lord will come.”  Always prepare yourself to leave this world without any prior notice. To do that we must learn to walk in God’s Will. My vision for Fellowship Baptist Church is that all of us become determined to stay in God’s Will. If we stay in God’s Will, everything else that we need will be added unto us. To stay in God’s Will. We must:

1.     Be faithful in attending church on a regular basis.

2.     Get your children, your grandchildren and yourself in Sunday School

3.     Attend Bible Study faithfully to learn God’s Will. (Study to show  thyself   approved unto God, a workman that needeth not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.) (2 Timothy 2:15)

4.     Pay your tithes and offerings to advance the Kingdom of God on  Earth"

       (Malachi 3:10)

5.     Follow the two (2) Great Commandments of Jesus – “Love the Lord you God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind”. This is the first and the most important command, and the second: “Love your neighbor as you love yourself.” (Matt 22:37-39) When you keep these two great commandments, the other ten will fall into place – for these two great commandments fully cover the ten.

Church, this is what we must do in order to be ready when Jesus comes again. In short, “Get right church and let’s go home.”
